In today’s article we are going to take a look at some of the best premium Ruby on Rails admin templates to use in your web projects.
Ruby on Rails, or simply Rails, is a server-side web application framework written in Ruby under the MIT License. It is a model-view-controller (MVC) framework, providing default structures for a database, a web service, and web pages.

The admin themes below come with many features and ready-to-use components, as usual, so you can start developing your Rails web application in no time. Maybe some of these are familiar to you because I’ve already featured them in other articles, but there are also some new entries.

1. Angle – Bootstrap Admin Template with Rails version
Angle is a Bootstrap admin template that I’ve also featured in this other collection, and that comes in many versions for different frameworks like:
- HTML5 / jQuery,
- Angular Material Design,
- Ruby on Rails,
- MVC5 – ASP.NET CORE,
- Meteor JS.
Among its features we can find: fully responsive layout, lazy load assets, RTL support, translation ready, charts libraries, forms, table plugins, 90+ HTML templates, and many more.
2. INSPINIA – Responsive Admin Theme
INSPINIA is another beautiful admin theme made with the Bootstrap framework that I’ve also featured in this article. Its features include: flat design, responsive layout, charts libraries, responsive video, CSS3 animations, tables, file upload, forum view, timeline design, maps, blog view, code editor, small chat, landing page, PDF viewer, file manager, custom Material Design skin, invoice, user profile, form validation, shopping cart view, FAQ view, calendar view, and many more.
INSPINIA comes in different versions:

3. Rubix – ReactJS Powered Admin Template
Rubix is a responsive admin template powered by Facebook’s ReactJS and the Bootstrap framework. It comes with many composable React UI components (most of the Bootstrap components have been ported to React) and includes a beautiful touch-enabled charting library called Rubix Charts created exclusively for this template.
Rubix uses the SASS preprocessor for CSS, Webpack for managing and automating the asset pipeline, and the rtlcss module for generating RTL stylesheets. Mozilla’s L20n is used for localization / internationalization.
At the moment of writing this article, the template provides these native integrations:
- Redux + GraphQL
- Relay + GraphQL
- Laravel 5.1 LTS

- Ruby on Rails v5.0.0

4. Flatty – Flat Administration Template
Flatty is a responsive admin theme that comes with an easy integration with the Ruby on Rails framework. It’s built with Bootstrap, Sass, and has a flat design style.
Its features include: responsive layout, flat design, many color schemes, Retina-ready, Font Awesome icons, invoice, timeline, pricing tables, gallery, user profile, sign in / sign up / forgot password pages, FAQ, Email templates, calendar, charts, form validators, form wizard, file upload plugin, WYSIWYG editors, datatables, and more.
Of course it comes with extensive documentation, free support and free updates.
5. Atlas Admin – Responsive Full-AJAX Theme
Atlas is a Material Design admin template, fully AJAX, responsive, with Ruby on Rails integration. It’s made with Bootstrap, HTML5 / CSS3 (with Less pre-processor), jQuery, and includes many reusable UI components.
Some of the main features of Atlas are: well organized file structure, many UI components (boxes, widgets, modals), integration with many jQuery plugins (Select2, Slider, iCheck), Font Awesome icons, Ionicons, Glyphicons, charting libraries, login / signup pages, email inbox, user profiles, timelines, invoice, calendars, chat interfaces, CSS3 animations, custom Google Maps skin, different color schemes, and more.
6. Webarch – Responsive Admin Dashboard Template
Webarch is a Bootstrap admin template with Ruby on Rails support. It comes with many UI widgets, many jQuery plugins, Less files, responsive layout, Retina display support, beautiful colors, free updates and free support.
